All orders are processed within 2–5 business days of purchase confirmation. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays will begin processing the next business day.
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been fulfilled and shipped.
During peak seasons (Father's Day, Back-to-School, and Holiday Season), processing times may be extended. We will notify customers of any significant delays.

Valid Dad ships all orders exclusively via USPS Priority Mail.

4. Shipping Destinations
Valid Dad currently ships within the United States only, including all 50 states, Washington D.C., and U.S. territories where USPS Priority Mail service is available.
International Shipping: We do not currently offer international shipping. We plan to expand international shipping options in the future. Please check back for updates.
P.O. Boxes: USPS Priority Mail can deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please ensure your P.O. Box address is entered correctly at checkout.
APO/FPO/DPO Addresses: We are proud to ship to military addresses serviced by USPS.

5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery address.
Free Shipping: Valid Dad may offer free shipping promotions from time to time. Any applicable free shipping thresholds will be displayed on our website and at checkout.

7. Delivery Issues
Lost Packages
If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you have not received it:
1. Check with neighbors, building management, or your local post office.
2. Allow 1–2 additional business days, as USPS may mark packages as delivered prematurely.
3. Contact your local USPS post office with your tracking number.
4. If the package cannot be located, contact Valid Dad at our support email and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failure to pick up from the post office:
We will contact you to arrange re-shipment at your expense.
Valid Dad is not responsible for packages returned due to customer-provided incorrect address information.

8. Damaged Items & Exchange Policy
Valid Dad takes great care in packaging every order. However, if your hat arrives damaged in transit, we will make it right.
Exchange Only: We offer exchanges exclusively for hats damaged during shipping. No refunds will be issued.
Return Window: Exchanges must be requested within 7–14 business days of the delivery date as confirmed by USPS tracking.
How to Request an Exchange:
1. Email us with your order number and a description of the damage.
2. Include clear photographs of the damaged hat and packaging.
3. Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.
4. If approved, we will provide a prepaid USPS return shipping label.
5. Once the damaged item is received and inspected, your exchange will be processed and shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
*Please Note: Exchanges are only available for damage caused during shipping. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing preferences, or other non-damage-related reasons.
